Toddlers for Tomorrow education and care programs
More than 70% of the total population in sub-Saharan Africa lives in rural areas. For every 100 children living in urban areas who have access to primary education, only 68 do so in rural communities. And for every 100 children in urban areas who complete primary school, only 46 do so in rural regions.
These inequities in education directly threaten the sustainable development of the sub-Saharan region. Food security and poverty reduction strategies are directly dependent on our capacity to foster rural children's access to quality primary education.
Even where you find schools in these areas you find poorly staffed and equipped schools and institutions.
A bright beginning for any child starts with quality education.
Our Toddlers for Tomorrow initiative is driven to create quality initial schools in rural areas in Africa and other parts of the world.
Our emphasis lies in concentrating the most effective learning methods with qualified hands and adequate infrastructure to bring this initiative of education to life.
Where available we solicit the voluntary assistance of the most creative educators available and encourage their selfless contribution by making available to them the basic tools needed to get the job done.
Books, transportation and infrastructure must be adequate to ensure effective school management and for these we seek assistance from our donors. We have learned from our initial pilot education program in Ashaka Delta State Nigeria that a single donation of $100 can secure the books required for a class of 30 children for a whole semester.
No amount is too small to assist us if you will to help develop the minds of our young worldwide neighbors.
Join us in our continuous effort to provide an educated world of tolerance and mutual appreciation. A world where our children will grow and live in peace.
